Born in Eritrea, Highhat has been producing for over a decade now. pursuing a life-long passion that cannot be ignored.
A strong Eritrean musical presence with artists such as Korchach & Helen Meles heavily inspiring Highhat throughout the first few years of his life (and to this day) before he moved to Sweden with his siblings to reunite with his mother at the age of 8.
Discovering Mainstream American Hip Hop in the early 2000s, Highhat gravitated towards Aftermath Entertainment Artists like 50 Cent & Eminem. Soon after, he began diving into the local Swedish Underground Hip Hop community listening to the likes of The Latin Kings, Aki, Z.E, Dani M, Jacco & Renowned Swedish Producer Masse Salazar.
Just before his teenage years in 2009, Highhat began producing after his cousin Sam X Soul introduced him to the early era FL Studio demo.
