I.D.F.K. is an Enigmatic Producer all the way from India
Check out I.D.F.K.’s entry for Trusc’s
“Onetake Remix Challenge”!
A talented young producer from Bahrain, I.D.F.K. joined the Enigmatic Electronic Records team
in 2021 with high hopes of transforming himself into a household name
Growing up listening to American Hip Hop Artists like Tupac & 50 Cent combined with World-Wide Acts such as Queen & One Direction, I.D.F.K. discovered a deep passion for music through the various genres he’d listen to.
In the following years, I.D.F.K. found his musical identity. Listening to artists like One Direction’s Zayn Malik, Norway’s Alan Walker, and both bbno$ (Baby No Money) & The Weekend from Canada. Coincidentally, it was a bbno$ (Baby No Money) Beat breakdown/analysis video on YouTube that got I.D.F.K. interested in becoming a producer himself.
Searching through Beat breakdown/analysis videos and the producers behind them lead I.D.F.K. to the Internet Money Collective (Nick Mira & CXDY) as well as the Modern Hip Hop era. After downloading his first DAW soon after, I.D.F.K. was set on his path to becoming the next young producer the world would know.
When we asked I.D.F.K. who he looked to for inspiration as a producer, his answer was:
“Kanye West for his use of samples, Rio Leyva & The Internet Money Collective for their creative drum work. As well as Southside & PVLACE for the darker-themed beats.”
Up next, I.D.F.K. is planning on releasing his debut beat tape (date & title TBD) while also working on constructing and dropping a collection of drum & sample/loop kits in the coming months.
